Dr. Han brings many years of dental experience to the practice, including research at McGill and Harvard Universities and a residency at the University of Washington. She has had rotations throughout the Seattle area and practiced privately in Seattle prior to opening Essence of Dentistry. Committed to expanding her technical knowledge and staying at the top of her field, Dr. Han attends numerous post-graduate courses and local study groups.

When she is not working, Dr. Han spends her time outdoors—skiing and rowing are two of her favorite activities. She also enjoys traveling and exposing herself to new cultures. She is fluent in English, French, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and speaks some Spanish. She has provided continued support to many philanthropic organizations in the Seattle area, most notably, the American Heart Association.

After many years of practice, I realized that getting to know my patients--their needs, their past dental experiences, their concerns--is integral both to their satisfaction and the level of service I am able to provide. That’s why Essence of Dentistry focuses not only on genuine, comfortable dental care, but also on the peace of mind of those receiving it.

I believe that our overall well being is tied directly to our oral health. The latter impacts our appearance, our speech, even our enjoyment of the food we eat. When I care for patients, my only goal is to send them home healthier and happier than when they came to me. That is why I surround myself with an attentive staff and operate a clinic equipped with the best of what 21st century dentistry has to offer.
